The Chicago Funk

The Chicago Funk pays tribute to the music of Earth, Wind & Fire. They were finalists during the second season of the Dutch TV show ‘The Tribute: Battle of the Bands,’ impressing the audience! 

They were born with a love for old-school soul, disco, and Motown music and their show is a whirlwind of hits, reigniting everyone’s disco spirit. The goal of this 12-member tribute band is ‘to make it feel like Earth, Wind & Fire is standing right in front of you when you close your eyes.’

The original pop group Earh, Wind & Fire is known for Philip Bailey’s high notes, Maurice White’s warm-sounding vocals and Ralph Johnson’s distinctive voice. It was important to do honor to these distinctive voices and to perfectly reproduce them. And that is exactly what Dutch artists Nigel Brown, Clayton Peroti, and Clifton End do.

This musical tribute sensation brings you right back to the 70s and 80s. They will play all the hits, like ‘Boogie Wonderland,’ ‘In the Stone,’ ‘After the Love has Gone,’ and, of course, the worldwide hit ‘September.’ Dust of your disco outfit and groove along during this amazing show!
