Word and music reinforce each other in a compelling way in this performance, based on stories from Helmond of the past and Ukraine of today. The Helmond photographer is arrested and imprisoned in Camp Amersfoort. He is ready to be transported to Germany, but is saved by... a camera? 80 years after the liberation of Helmond, we celebrate our freedom here every year. Freedom that suddenly became a lot less obvious since February 2022. Let yourself be transported to Helmond in the Second World War and experience Häftling 9203 with us!
