Choreographer Shailesh Bahoran explores the universality of the mystical in Mystic. How can something evoke the same experience across different cultures, times, places, and among various people?
With a background in hip-hop culture, Shailesh Bahoran embarks on an adventure in collaboration with ICK Dans Amsterdam, alongside dancers from the ensemble with a classical/contemporary background. Cross-pollination is also sought in the music and spiritual aspects of the culture of the Amsterdam Andalusian Orchestra. Six musicians perform live during the performance.
