Blauwe Vinkjes
With their debut performance, Blauwe Vinkjes conquered the Dutch theaters last season. Kevin van den Berg and Manon Blaauw dived into the deep end of the cabaret pond as fresh, uninhibited autodidacts, gradually learned to swim and stayed afloat. And how! The cabaret duo played a record number of performances and managed to attract an enthusiastic audience.
In 'Poeha' Blauwe Vinkjes takes the opportunity to become even more personal. Without hesitation, they put their finger on everyone's sore spot and mercilessly make fun of everyday fuss. In their characteristic style they magnify, mirror and distort recognizable situations. From consent to content and from opera to amusement park; Expect an evening full of exciting and hilarious sketches, colorful characters, catchy songs and everything sharply interwoven with current events.
About the cabaret duo
Blauwe Vinkjes was a finalist of the cabaret festival Cameretten in 2021 and took home the Audience Award of the Amsterdam Student Cabaret Festival that same year. Director Ruut Weissman describes their style as 'a traditional theater form in the spirit of our times'. In 2025-2026, Manon and Kevin will present their second theater performance, in which they once again adapt a revue-like theater style with a contemporary vision and form.
