The stubborn baby boomer Bob (65), played by Huub Stapel, falls into a personal crisis when his position is undermined on all fronts: he suffers from age-related ailments, can hardly keep up with the younger generation at work, turns out to be not an ideal informal caregiver for his demented mother and his love life is a mess. His only support in all the chaos is his loyal group of friends. At a time when his relationship with the much younger Fee (Jennifer Hoffman) is faltering due to her sudden desire to have children, he meets his childhood sweetheart Odile (Renée Fokker), whom he has not seen for 47 years. As the past and present collide, Bob must choose between what once was and what might still be. Because when nothing is certain anymore, who says it's too late to start over?
