Dansschool LaToja - Namasté
Especially for all elderly people of Valkenswaard and their caregiver or grandchild.
Namasté through dance school Latoja is about freedom
It is not without reason that this performance takes place on May 4. Freedom also means being able to be yourself, having an eye for each other, being able to express your feelings openly and, above all, to exclude anyone.
-
Namasté* tells - partly autobiographical - story of a young, colorful dancer. He dances to express himself and his feelings. But not everyone can appreciate that. Eventually he ends up outside the group with all the consequences of that ...
-
Namasté* is about freedom and wanting to see each other as we are. That is not a matter of course and we have to think about that occasionally. Literal.
-
Namasté* also symbolizes the way founder of Latoja - Geerten Linsen - is living. And the message that she also wants to give her dancers, in addition to the love for and the pleasure in dancing. That is why she recorded this date for this special performance two years ago.
Rating to all elderly people
The afternoon performance is specially intended for all elderly people of Valkenswaard and their caregiver or grandchild. A special rate of EUR 3.50 applies to them, including a cup of coffee or tea and something tasty. Children of Latoja bake cakes and cookies for this. As a token of appreciation for their contribution to the reconstruction after WWII.
