The attack

The acclaimed stage editing of the bestseller by Harry Mulisch is back in the theaters! Also 80 years after the liberation the attack is a must-see. A penetrating and exciting story about guilt and responsibility.

It is the Hunger Winter of 1945. In addition to the house of twelve -year -old Anton, a collaborating agent is shot dead. After his family has been arrested and shot by the Germans, the why of the events continues to chase Anton. You can only conclude that the story has not lost anything in expressiveness, the freedom of man remains vulnerable and is not self -evident now.

about the cast

Leendert de Ridder, known for his role in the film Mees Kees, who is awarded with a Golden Calf, and from his performance in Hendrik Groen: cheerful to the finish line, plays the role of Anton Steenwijk.

Peter Bolhuis (Oogapels, Baantjer, Soldier van Oranje) and Henriëtte Tol (Keyzer & De Boer Advocaten, Soldier van Oranje) already played starring roles in this performance 15 years ago and return. The cast is completed by Tim Linde and Anna Bartels.
