Frank Cools en Florian de Schepper
Aznavour
Two people on stage. A singer (a very good one!) and a guitarist (a fantastic one!). That's all it takes to make Charles Aznavour's beautiful repertoire glitter and sparkle: La bohème, Hier encore, For me formidable, Emmenez-moi. And of course also She and La mama and so much more.
Le Grand Charles would have turned 100 in 2024. Because he can't do it anymore and they can't resist, Frank Cools and Florian de Schepper now bring this warm and intimate tribute to Aznavour. A wonderful theater concert full of recognition and surprises, also because Cools talks in a disarming way. And the audience listens breathlessly.
One guitar and one voice: Aznavour's songs in their purest form!
About Frank Cools and Florian de Schepper
The Flemish Frank Cools appeared as an actor and singer in almost every theater in Flanders and the Netherlands. He sang both chanson and tearjerker, made many youth performances and was often a solo actor on stage with classical texts. He manages to get to the essence with few resources.
Florian de Schepper is a classical guitarist, but sees himself more as a chameleon;
