Jeunes Mères is the new film of two-time Golden Palm winners Jean-Pierre & Luc Dardenne. In this both moving and hopeful mosaic film, the Dardennes show how five young women want to fight for a better life for themselves and their child. Jessica, Perla, Julie, Ariane and Naïma stay in a mother and child house where they receive support as a young (future) mothers. Five teenagers with their own story and problems each, but they find support together. Cutting for a better future is not always easy, but the mother house offers protection, warmth and connectedness.
