In this heart -warming French film, everyone discovers in their own way which place you can take in your own family formed. By being open to unexpected connections, the world around us can get color. Alex (Pio Marmai) is a young, single father with great sorrow after the death of his wife. His son Elliot is six years old and has to learn to deal with the new home situation. The older neighbor Sandra (Valeria Bruni Tedeschi) runs a feminist bookstore and is very in itself. They are attached to each other against all expectations. But who is she for them? And who are they for her? Director Carine Tardieu (ôtez-Moi d'une Doute) again shows how we can fill in relationships and family ourselves. L’Atattachement went in World Première at the Venice Film Festival (Orizzonti).
