Namasté: 'the light in me greets the light in you'

From this beautiful greeting, a close-knit team of director, dance and drama teachers from dance school LaToja and teacher Ellen Verbeek from WereDi, got to work with students for the performance of the same name Namasté. Namasté tells the story of a young dancer: She dances to express herself and her feelings. But not everyone can appreciate that. She is eventually placed outside the group with all the consequences that entails... Namasté is about the impact of (cyber) bullying but also about having the courage. Wanting and being able to see each other as we are. Because this is not a matter of course, all students of LaToja-dance and WereDi invite the audience to reflect on this theme together through this performance.
