After previous successful theater programs from Ocobar in which the music of Eric Clapton was central, it is now really time for the very best... the 'Best of Clapton', Ocobar's latest theater concert in which all of Clapton's musical highlights come together.
From his early years with the Yardbirds; Songs like Layla, I shot the Sheriff, Wonderful Tonight, Sunshine of your Love, Forever Man, Lay down Sally, Tears in Heaven, After Midnight, everything is covered.
About the musicians
Bart Wijtman, the bassist of Ocobar, takes care of all the vocals, his brother Rob Wijtman plays the drums and Cok van Vuuren, nominated several times as the best guitarist in the Netherlands, plays the guitar.
Eric Clapton's music is tailor-made for them. Ocobar effortlessly switches with dedication and craftsmanship from an intimate acoustic sound to an electric setting, full of virtuoso energy and impressive guitar solos.
