Romijn Conen
In Vallicht, actor Romijn Conen tells the moving story of a fifties who is put out of his house by his wife: "I can no longer be your loved one if you keep hiding behind your disabilities. You are more than that, but you don't see it anymore! ”
Is the man looking for himself? Also, but even more for all those people who believed in him, but one after the other let him go because he (according to himself) was no more than a man in default ... that he just got it and did nothing.
In this moving monologue, written by Peer Wittenbols, we hear how, despite his aphasia, this man manages to find words for his (held by doctors for impossible) resurrection and for his wife's loving cry that he should try to be "romijn" again!
