I don't remember.

No way. My navigation is broken.

In the Netherlands I am a Surinamese, in Suriname I am a Dutchman. But where do I belong? Maybe I should just search Google Maps: where do I feel at home? Spoiler: no results found.

And then those kids of mine... I try to be a good parent, but sometimes I have no idea what I'm doing. Nowadays there are all those parenting books, but my children don't seem to have read that book.

Outside on the street it is also a minefield. It used to be that you could just say “Good afternoon” to a stranger, but now they look at you as if you just asked them to pick up your towel in the sauna. And social media? There people react as if they had just been bitten by a red ant. You say “I like pancakes” and before you know it you have the entire anti-gluten community after you.

In my new comedy show 'Navigation is Broken' I take you into my confusion about identity, parenthood and the strange world we live in now. Come laugh, come cry - but above all, don't be angry, because I don't know what to do anymore either.

Will I see you there?
