From Amsterdam to New York
Thaïsa Olivia is a passionate jazz singer, composer and bandleader with a warm, unique sound and a special presentation. Thaïsa is a woman of the world. She was born in Amsterdam, but New York is now her second home and she can regularly be found on the jazz stages there. She pays tribute to the two places she can call home on earth: Amsterdam & New York.
Thaïsa makes her voice heard with beautiful songs from The Great American Songbook, as well as Dutch translations and her own work. From Cole Porter, Nat King Cole, Duke Ellington, Billy Strayhorn, George Gershwin and Sondheim, to homegrown Emiel Wienholts and Ed Boekee.
