Valkenswaards Kamerorkest
Surprise program
The Valkenswaards Chamber Orchestra (VKO) will give a classic concert this afternoon. The program is still a big surprise because the orchestra presents itself for the first time under the guidance of her new conductor.
You can assume that it will be a varied Sunday afternoon matinee, where in addition to the inauguration of the new conductor, the early spring is also celebrated.
The VKO has around thirty enthusiastic and talented members who make music at a high amateur level. The orchestra plays music that is written especially for somewhat smaller orchestra occupations and realizes 3 to 4 concerts per year. The orchestra has the ambition to carry out works of classicism (Beethoven, Mozart) via romance (Schubert, Mendelssohn) to crossovers with jazz and pop culture.
