The Valkenswaard Chamber Orchestra presents the atmospheric “Candlelight Concert” this afternoon. Classical music alternates with special poems and puts you in the mood for the holidays ahead. You listen to, among other things: the atmospheric Peer Gynt Suite by Edvard Grieg and the beautiful Lark Ascending by Ralph Vaughan Williams.
The Valkenswaard Chamber Orchestra presents itself at its best in an afternoon full of musical highlights. The musical direction is last in the hands of the inspiring conductor Martijn Pepels, who bids farewell to the orchestra with this concert after 10 years.
“Candlelight Concert” brings together the most beautiful melodies and poems and is a special experience for both seasoned visitors and newcomers.
