The much -winning "All We Imagine As Light" tells the story of three nurses in Mumbai, connected by loss, desire and hope. The routine of nurse Pabha is disturbed when she gets an unexpected gift from her alienated husband.
Her younger roommate Anu tries in vain to find a place in the city to be intimate with her boyfriend. The older Parvaty is confronted with a deportation by a real estate company and takes Anu and Pabha to her coastal village. Their friendship blooms in the midst of hardships and an increasingly reminiscent metropolis.
