Alleen maar lieve jongens ◆ 8+
At the cat dance, almost all youth theater performances are free for children up to and including 12 years. More information about this and the conditions can be found here .
Only sweet guys is a musical search for how you can be yourself.
Zeno feels different from the children from his class. He is too busy, makes too many jokes, is not cool enough, too angry, cries too fast and gets into trouble all the time. He wants to be just as normal as dad and dad. They know exactly how to do that.
Fantasy world on the rug
Being yourself is super difficult, but Zeno has no idea how. It starts that he does not have a mother, and that is not normal, because the other children do have a mother. But do you need a mother to be normal? By creating a fantasy world with his fathers, Zeno finds out that yourself is quite complicated and that you have to be courageous for that.
"A normal family does not exist and a normal child does not exist. Maybe we should throw the word 'normal' overboard. That would give so much space and freedom, "says Loek de Bakker.
After 'Supernormal' (5+), director Loek De Bakker again makes a performance at HNTjong who is asking the standard. He does this together with prize -winning writer Casper Vandeputte, who received a silver cricket for the performance 'Stom' (10+).
