...of those boys who play blues with Magic Frankie or Nienke Dingemans, theater music with Freek de Jonge or Alex Roeka or they rock with ¡Pendejo!, The Fortunate Sons, Rob de Nijs, André van den Boogaart or Mattanja Joy Bradley...
...those boys also have a day off sometimes. Off duty, they turn out to be very ordinary boys, who throw all those styles into one pot and sing their Brabant stories with it.
In the performance 'Working' their songs are about growing up among the corn fields, going out in Breda and a narcissist who plagues the Roosendaal city center.
There is even a protest song about drug labs that destroy Brabant's nature.
And then there are also a number of retranslations of well-known songs such as 'Stay With Me' by The Faces and Ry Cooder's Across The Borderline. Everything sung by Jan van Bijnen's characteristic sandpaper voice.
In this song program, the visitor also receives the necessary anecdotes and stories from these three experienced musicians, multi-instrumentalists and singer/songwriters. Then the EXTERNAL SERVICE goes out...
