De Volle Vuilkar ◆ 7+
This performance takes place outside in a real garbage truck, takes approximately 30 minutes and is suitable for children from 7 years old. The show is free of charge, but you do have to reserve a ticket.
Two garbage men stir the loading box well. Press button, wait: Ready. Like this. All adults and children ended up in the belly of the garbage truck. Within that they don't turn out to be the only thing that has been thrown away. Between the mess they hear voices, some things want to speak. 'The full dirt cart' is an amazing expedition. At the touch and sometimes laughing, the participants investigate who they are. The text is from Abdelkader Benali. A quote: "To see you I have to be myself | but I am not without you."
'The full dirt cart' is a performance without actors in a real garbage truck. Company Schippers & Vangucht takes young and old to the world of the discarded items and invites you to think about living together with others.
Inspiration
Inspiration for 'the full dirt cart' found Schippers & Vangucht in a quote from writer Samuel Beckett: "Dear Incomprehension, it's thanks to you I'll be myelf, in the end."
Schippers & Vangucht makes theater performances for both young and old, in which time, shelf life and generations play a major role.
Please note: the performance is set in a small space, which is why it is not suitable for people with claustrophobia.
“Sometimes you have to collide with each other to see each other.
Sometimes you have to touch each other to take a distance.
Sometimes you don't have to understand anything from each other to find understanding. "
