A musical and theatrical ode to Leonard Cohen
At the end of 2016, Leonard Cohen, who, with his dark voice and his beautiful lyrics, managed to keep generations under the spell. "So Long Cohen" is a theater concert with the most famous songs of this charismatic Canadian folk singer, composer and poet. In addition, "So Long Cohen" is a journey of discovery to whom Leonard Cohen was now.
Ernest Beuving sings and seeks Leonard Cohen. He does this in part in a cabaretesque way. Through his imitations, for example, he lets numerous caricatural table gastherers (from Bob Dylan and Armand to Maarten van Rossem) sit down to look.
In short, an evening of delicious Leonard Cohen music and experience, with a lot of humor, emotion and poetry: "There is a crack in everything, that's how the light gets in," said Leonard Cohen.
