A folk singer comes up. Ready for the concert of his life. His oeuvre: songs about his life. His hits: "My dear but naughty dog", "A difficult Christmas Eve with the family" and "Oh dear spring where do you go ..?".
He cheerfully starts singing adult songs about his melancholy life. Only, does everyone want to hear this misery? And don't the songs look very similar? When the children in the room slowly but surely become rebellious, the theater realizes that she has booked the wrong act for the young target group. Subtly try to get rid of the theater programmers of the folk singer. But how do you stop someone who doesn't want to stop? Whether he even does not realize anything at all?
"The best of me" is a show about the magic of the theater, how you can create big changes with small things and that you often bring about more together than when you want to do everything alone. Guard.. Is that now the folk singer who is behind the technology, or is the technology running after the folk singer ...? And how can it suddenly snow on stage?
