IVANOV
After "Sophocles" and "Shakespeare", Studio Antigone brings a play of the third of the big three of the theatrical world literature "Ivanov" by Anton Chekhov.
As in all his pieces, Chekhov shows the life of the well -to -do bourgeoisie in decay with "Ivanov". Deep tragic and moving, but at the same time very comical. An exciting story about unpleasant desire for love.
As always, Studio Antigone focuses on the language, while music will again play an important role. The performance will connect Czechov's image of a lethargic bourgeoisie in decline with our current society, in which the so -called middle class only starts to move when their material lifestyle is threatened.
