An absurd fairy tale that only begins when it is over. We find ourselves in a strange no man's land, somewhere after the end of the fairy tale. Where a prince and his lackey claim their 'happily ever after'. They were promised!
They wait… Maybe it looks different than they expected and it is an unexpected guest at a party? Or is it hiding in a bag between two slices of bread? In any case, you should not look for happiness if you want to find it, nor should you give up hope. And maybe only then will you discover true happiness: friendship.
In the performance 'Happy Even Longer', Oortwolk plays with slapstick, magic and a bit of absurdity to turn the fairytale idea of 'happily ever after' upside down. For everyone who believes in fairy tales, but knows they don't exist.
The performance is suitable for children aged 7 and over.
