An absurd fairy tale that only begins once it has ended. We find ourselves in a strange no-man’s-land, somewhere after the fairy tale is over. Where a prince and his footman demand their ‘happily ever after’. They were promised it!

They wait… Perhaps it looks different from what they expected, and turns out to be an unexpected guest at a party? Or is it hiding in a bag between two slices of bread? Either way, you shouldn’t go looking for happiness if you want to find it – and you shouldn’t give up hope either. And maybe only then will you discover true happiness: friendship.

In the show ‘Nog langer gelukkig’, Oortwolk plays with slapstick, magic and a touch of absurdity to turn the fairy-tale idea of ‘happily ever after’ on its head. For everyone who believes in fairy tales, but knows they don’t exist.

The show is suitable for children aged 7 and over.
