After earlier successful theater programs from Ocobar, in which Eric Clapton's music was central, it is now really time for the very best ... The "Best of Clapton", the newest theater concert in Ocobar in which all the musical highlights of Clapton come together.
From his early years with the Yardbirds along the rugged, exciting blues from Cream to the later years of Clapton with the big hits and of course the famous MTV Unplugged concert. Songs such as "Layla", "I Shot the sheriff", "Wonderful Tonight", "Sunshine of Your Love", "Forever Man", "Lay Down Sally", "Tears in Heaven", "After Midnight" all come by.
Bart Wijtman, the bass player of Ocobar, takes care of all vocals. His brother Rob Wijtman Drumt and Cok van Vuuren, who has been nominated several times as the best guitarist in the Netherlands, plays the guitar.
Eric Clapton's music is made for them. Ecobar effortlessly shifts from an intimate acoustic sound to an electric setting, full of virtuoso energy and impressive guitar solos with surrender and craftsmanship.
