Songs of Earth
From now on, placed sale applies to the Tuesday afternoon films. This means that when ordering a ticket you can immediately reserve a chair and not choose a place in the room on the day itself as before.
Ice blue glaciers, splashing waterfalls and crackling green deciduous trees. Below that the soft ticking of the walking sticks of 84-year-old Jørgen, with which he carefully defies the boulders on his path. His daughter, director Margreth Olin, films him for a year as a guide through the spectacular Norwegian Valley Oldedalen he knows on his back.
Margreth left the area years ago; They grew on it, fell in love and several families founded. Incidental landslides and floods with the loss of loved ones are also part of life in whimsical nature. With these kinds of family stories, facts about the village and anecdotes from his own childhood, father is funny, as the elderly can be. But when he walks, surrounded by rocks, animals and drones, there is peace.
The breathtaking landscape is almost exclusively accompanied by the sounds of nature, which translated the London Contemporary Orchestra into melodies. A grand nature spectacle, built on a personal history.
