We would like to invite you to a weekend of music with a focus on encouraging young musical talent. For the 17th time this year, 10 music companies from the region, each with their own young soloist, will compete for the bronze trumpet player 'De Adriaan'. This biennial music competition and the bronze statue are named after the founder of 'De Adriaan', Mr Adriaan Sweegers.

Each music company performs music, starting with a warm-up piece, followed by the competition song and then light music of your choice. The competition work is judged by KNMO-approved jury members. The best-rated soloist wins the coveted bronze statue.

You are very welcome! Entrance is free and reservations for tickets are not necessary.
