Stuntelman ◆ 4+
At the Kattendans, a large part of the youth theater performances are free for children up to 12 years old. More information about this and the conditions can be found here.
A comic explosion of vulnerability and strength.
KLABAM! Welcome to Professor BOEM and her bouncing stuntman. It looks like it's made of rubber! Undeterred, he crashes and pounds into everything. Put on your helmet and go! Do you dare?
Professor BOEM is brilliant and crazy: in her crash lab she comes up with the wildest experiments. And our Stuntman? She carries them all out. Right in front of your eyes. POING! KABOOM! CLASS!
But then things go wrong. One test too many… and Stuntman turns from rubber to glass. PING! His head, arms, legs, even his hair: everything fragile. CRACK! Suddenly he's not a stuntman. He is Bumbling Man. Can't do anything anymore. Don't dare anymore.
In the most careful voyage of discovery ever, the bumbling man and Professor BOEM search for answers together. SSST… How do you test the world if you're afraid of every punch? Who are you if you can no longer do what you could? And can fragility also be a strength?
An adventurous musical theater performance full of adrenaline for all small and large stunters, about vulnerability, courage and the power to start again.
The performance is suitable for children aged 4 and over and lasts approximately 55 minutes.
