Muziek

This is a standing concert in which our grandstand is being retracted and there are no seats available.

In 1976, almost fifty years ago, they were on stage for the first time, the RK Veulpoepers BV. They played their Aktivistish Nederfolk on demonstrations, village squares, youth clubs and festivals. In 2026 they celebrate this jubilee as Feulpoepers 3.0, with founder and singer Zjef Naaijkens and with numerous professional musicians and special activities.

They are legendary in Brabant and far beyond, the RK Veulpoepers BV. They were against everything, in their own absurd way, against apartheid, nuclear energy and housing shortage. Now they are on stage again such as Veulpoepers 3.0, because in these times of political headwind we can use some happiness and cosiness again.

against the acid

They are again against: against the right-wing populistic acid from The Hague and in society. Against each other's lives, against the fact that minorities have to spoil it again, frustrated against acid faces of jealous. They literally get the acid from that. And they are also before: enjoying and dancing together for a better world! Before the participation of everyone, the same reward, a nice atmosphere. Of course they do that with the success numbers that everyone knows, such as 'Den Egelantier' and 'Get two buckets of water'. Sometimes already 50 years old, but still horribly up -to -date. There is also brand new material, in which Naaijkens commented on the abuses in the world with sharp pen: privacy problems, rudeness, exploitation and climate change.

musicians

Of the old occupation of the anarchotruppe from the south, Naaijkens is still left, supported by singer of the first hour Lizet van Beek. She is flanked by Desiree van de Hout or Louise Donker. Piet Maas plays on Bas, drums comes from Pascal Vermeer, David Cornelissen plays mandolin and whistles. Bart De Win of Jonas Hörmann plays on tests and on various strings Harry Hendriks and Frank van Osch. Most solos come from Herman van Haaren (Violin) and Henk Koekkoek (Saxen). And everyone also sings along! The sound technique is in the hands of Peter-Paul van Hest.
