Vingt Dieux
Ticket sales for the Tuesday afternoon films is unplaced, which means that there are no fixed places and seat numbers. You can choose a place yourself in the afternoon.
In "Vingt Dieux" we see how the 18-year-old Totone sees his carefree existence changing abruptly when his father dies. Suddenly, in addition to financial problems, he also has the worries for his 7-year-old sister Claire and their cheese farm. There seems to be nothing else to do but sell it until he hears about a competition. The challenge for this is to make the best Comté cheese in the region. In addition to a gold medal, the main prize consists of € 30,000. One problem: Totone has absolutely no knowledge of cheese making. Fortunately there is a saving angel in the form of the young farmer Marie-Liese. Her cow's milk is known as the best in the region.
The tragicomic story of Totone has all building blocks of a heart-warming coming-of-age film, about setback, love, friendship, including the less romantic sides of rural life.
