In a plastic state of mind you follow a group of girls who were imprisoned by rebel leaders during the Liberian war. They live under horrible circumstances. Still, in the midst of that situation, these girls show their strength. They survive as a form of protest. No matter how tragic their existence seems, with strength and humor, this all female cast shows that life force is stronger than any sorrow. The show is based on the Broadway performance Eclipsed , which was nominated in five categories for a Tony Award.
