Sjef the Mouse loses his home when his tree is chopped down without warning. In a panic he flees and finds shelter under a log cabin in the woods. It’s dry there and there’s food within easy reach. But Beuk the lumberjack is not happy, because the cabin is hers. That mouse has to go, whatever it takes. When Owl turns up too, the chaos is complete and the three become ever more entangled in a battle over the woods. Because who do those woods really belong to?

Beuk! is a family show full of physical comedy. The audience is swept into a cartoon-like world of spectacular chases and comic tumbles. Top-notch slapstick, plenty of things being thrown and smashed, and breaking stuff is allowed. But above all, Beuk! is a touching story about friendship between human and animal and their shared love of nature.

What the media say about Beuk!
"Delightful, hilarious slapstick that fires the imagination." (Het Parool)
