Diversity simply means: difference. Difference in origin, culture, age, religion, gender, level of education, sexual orientation and vision of life. Inclusion is about what we do with those differences. It is consciously creating an environment in which every individual feels welcome, safe and appreciated and can actually participate.

In the Eindhoven region we experience this diversity daily, with around 150 to 170 nationalities and more than 40,000 expats. Organizations and leaders are challenged to think and act including. The recently published trends from the Pulse study in Eindhoven show which opportunities and tensions play and offer inspiration for how organizations can deal with this.

Inclusion not only means developing policy, but also having courageous conversations about topics that challenge us and connect

This afternoon is intended for entrepreneurs, HR professionals, politicians, policy makers, welfare workers, educational professionals, healthcare directors and managers who are dealing with diversity and inclusion in their work. We cordially invite you to participate in this meeting, in which we not only share knowledge, but also talk about the challenges and opportunities of diversity and inclusion.
