Café Brabant - Het Zuidelijk Toneel
In Café Brabant we sympathize with the owner and regular guests of a pub on the verge of bankruptcy. They cling to tables, habits and each other, because this pub is their home. The pub owner holds her own as captain on her own Titanic. An expat hopes to find a new home and friends there. An adolescent desperately searches for an exit and a place of his own. The band plays on until the last sip and gasp.
When a young entrepreneur walks in and sees his opportunity to exploit the charming local atmosphere, the question arises: will this be a new beginning or the final farewell?
