COOLING DOWN, Gewoon Doen - Warming Up Festival landelijk

This city event is made possible by a network of partners: Municipality of Eindhoven, Eindhoven in Dialoog, The City of Tomorrow, Gilde Plus / Europe Direct Eindhoven, Stichting Gedeeld Verleden, Joint Future Eindhoven and the Parktheater. Together with residents, artists, scientists, entrepreneurs and social organizations, we explore practical solutions and new ideas for our city.

This city event is part of the Warming Up Festival, a national initiative that connects art and climate. Because music, images and stories touch people where numbers cannot. The event marks the kick-off of the festival in Eindhoven. As part of the event you can also discover workshops in Eindhoven, such as fermenting in the Food Forest, a visit to the Genneper Hoeve or the Dutch Caribbean Open Day in CKE.

What you can expect:
COOLING DOWN, Just do it brings together five related themes:

The necessity - facts and insights about climate and quality of life - with recent measurements from Regional Monitoring Network
The city - sustainable growth and area development
The world and Europe - cooperation and knowledge sharing
Health - well-being, happiness and mental resilience
People - how can we really change?

The necessityDuring the program there are short introductions to the various sessions, alternated with surprising intermezzos of dance and rap, provided by Nikita Brok and La-Shanna Jacey & “Jimmy”.
