After the success of The unplipped sisters van Almere County, based on the work of Jane Austen, the makers now come up with The ungraced sisters van Hoogezand-Sappemeer, inspired by the lives of the Literaire Zusters Charlotte, Emily and Bronters

The three sisters Brontë looks back on their lives in Yorkshire, Northern England, around 1847. A life full of competition, TB, lunging and jealousy, in which they spend their days writing stories and poems, under male pseudonym. Their urge for artistic freedom and recognition was so huge that even today, even now, in death, the battle with each other compete for the best story and the most success. But how much has to be played before they dare to face their past? The Gezusters learn to live with death, by reconciling with their lives and with each other and luckily there is a lot of laughing again.
