De Verbouwing is a gripping thriller based on the book by Saskia Noort. The story follows Mathilde, a successful plastic surgeon who seems to lead the perfect life with her family. But behind this façade, everything is crumbling.

As Mathilde opens her new private clinic, her house lies in ruins thanks to a renovation that has gone completely off the rails. Tensions rise, relationships are thrown into disarray and control slips further and further from her grasp.

When Mathilde is forced to call on help from someone from her past, she ends up in a dangerous game with no way out. Slowly but surely she becomes caught in a suffocating web of lies, deception and betrayal.
