The not so bright student Barrie tries with great difficulty to keep up at university. His mother, neuroscientist Meredith Milius, does everything she can to make her dimwitted son more intelligent. Because if you are not highly educated, you would be better off dead, she believes.

Meanwhile, the support staff feels chronically undervalued. Led by cleaner Freddy, they wonder why academics earn more. When Freddy's daughter Tanya falls in love with Barrie, everything collides. Can love bridge the intellectual gap?

A quite manageable musical with unnecessarily complicated tunes and very simple sing-along songs. For bright minds and school dropouts.
