Women whose stories have been deliberately kept out of history for generations. Which were indispensable in times of war, colonization and resistance. Who cared, fought, built, and yet remained unnamed. They wore what was imposed on them, what they chose to wear, what they had no choice but to wear.

The stage on which they really take center stage has hardly existed for a long time. Draagkracht is an intimate dance performance that gives them that space, without detours. In bodies that know what words cannot say.
