The sea was bald. The sea had never been so bald. She looks at the boats that pass by. One day something unexpected happens: a boat comes to the girl. A boat with a man. The man laughs at her, but before she knows it the man has disappeared again.

About a warm towel after showering, sitting silently next to each other in the car and about resignation on the horizon.

Theatermaker Xandry van den Besselaar was inspired by the picture book small story about love by Marit Törnqvist, who won the Johannes Vermeerprijs in 2024.
