From the theatrical and playful Tagadàby Sofia Nappi and the cheerfully energetic Flabbergastby Gustavo Ramírez Sansano to two brand new pieces by Andonis Foniadakis and Aristide Rontini. A dynamic dance evening that completely recharges the audience.

With ENERGY, the engine of the dancing bodies goes on turbo mode” says Roel Voorintholt, artistic director of Introdans.

Sofia Nappi – Tagadà|Nappi uses the Italian fairground attraction tagadà as a metaphor for life. Sometimes we just go around in circles without having any control. We balance between uncertainty, fear, joy and euphoria. In the unpredictability of life, the connection with the people around you is an anchor.

Andonis Foniadakis - new creation |Now Foniadakis is back with a new creation especially made for the Introdans ensemble. Extreme flexibility and exuberant energy are the constant values in his work. Foniadakis fully empowers the dancers;

Aristide Rontini – new creation |This Italian choreographer has his own company that focuses on accessibility and all types of body realities. Themes in his work are identity, the relationship between the individual and the community and between nature and culture. At the invitation of Roel Voorintholt, Rontini is making a new creation for ENERGY

Gustavo Ramírez Sansano – Flabbergast |In this stunning choreography, Sansano embraces his Spanish roots. Artistic director Roel Voorintholt loves the lightness and wink of Flabbergast. Flabbergast is expressive and musical. The dancers take you into the atmosphere of the fifties and dance to the rhythm of Latin American music. They explore their desires, identities and, above all, each other. In combination with the stirring music of the Mexican composer Juan García Esquivel, this creation is the ideal ending to an energetic evening.
