It's about how family ties connect us and how they inevitably determine our lives. About blood family and chosen family. About parents, children, growing up and the fear of being left alone.

The players appear on stage as themselves, but throughout the performance they also seem to increasingly become each other's family. Family is a poetic and recognizable text performance about the universal concept of family. Starting from a queer perspective, they tell a larger human story about having and searching for a family. Not everyone has children, but at the end of the day we are all children.
