In Golem we are taken into a sharp, moving and sometimes absurdly witty struggle between a widow and an ex-wife, who seem to have nothing to do with each other-except their love for the same man. While Ukraine is creaking under the consequences of the war, Mary and Martha are looking for support, in memories and in a bizarre attempt to get a grip on their loss.

With black humor, raw emotion and unexpected tenderness, golem tells the story of the silent victims of war - the laggers, the loved ones, the people we never read in the newspapers. A moving, compelling representation about love, loss and the resilience of the human mind.
