Really, you ought to say a wholehearted yes to life every day. Get up and go out among people. But sometimes that feels like a bigger task than it sounds.

After his experiences in education, the darkroom and at a sickbed, Johan Goossens tells colourful tales of the worlds he has now plunged into. He trained in alternative therapy, drank hectolitres of fortified spirit mix and unexpectedly rolled into a board position. In a businesslike voice he raises points in meetings, while at night he sends passive-aggressive emails starting: ''I was surprised that...''

With humour, self-mockery and vulnerability, Johan battles his way through life, although the urge to hide under the duvet remains. Het Volle Leven is a show full of beautiful songs, absurd observations and stories from life as it really is.
