Marianne finds not only Christmas cards in her letterbox, but a birth announcement too! She sets off to visit the new baby, but on the way she meets a shepherd who has lost a little lamb. Will they find the lamb together? And of course she takes a sleigh ride along the way – will you come too?

The story combines elements of the original Christmas story with today’s Christmas themes, such as the Christmas tree. Lots of well-known Christmas songs feature, with adapted lyrics so they fit the story – both from the original Christmas story (such as De herdertjes lagen bij nachten) and more modern ones (such as Oh denneboom and I'm dreaming of a white Christmas). With beautiful piano accompaniment recorded by Bert van den Brink.
