Khalid Alterch - ICE

After an impressive first season, rapper and actor Khalid Alterch, better known by his alias Icemanvieze, or Ice, returns to the theater. What started with try-outs in Theater Zuidplein grew into a great success: 60 sold-out shows and more than 32,000 visitors, good for gold status. This season his critically acclaimed performance is reprized.

Ice initially became known for his music, with which he built a strong fan base. To this day, he is active as a musician and continues to release new music, in addition to his work as an actor and performer.

Ice has developed into a versatile performer in recent years. His big break as an actor came with his role as Tonano in the hit series Mocro Mafia. The character turned out to be so strong that it got its own spin-off on Videoland, of which a second season is now underway. He also played a leading role in the comedy series Nordin on Prime Video, a role that earned him a nomination for a Golden Calf.

In this performance, Ice takes the audience through his personal story as a person, artist and actor. He takes the audience to the streets of Rotterdam West, his father's ice cream truck and the Rotterdam market. 

With a mix of humor and openness, he shares the highs and lows of his life. From bizarre experiences to confrontational insights: Ice knows how to switch between lightheartedness and vulnerability, making his stories both moving and entertaining.

The performance feels like the next step in his development as a storyteller. He reflects on his path to success, the obstacles he encountered and the choices that shaped him, both on and off stage.
