huh? An end -of -year conference in the spring? Of course! Around April 1 - no, this is not a joke yet - it is Dutch Overhoot Day and the Netherlands has already used its natural resources for the whole of 2025. So December 31 we actually don't get ...! For the rest of the year we rely on our natural stocks, those of other countries and future generations.

So far the bad news. The good news is that Eveline van Rijswijk is already looking at how it can be a lot better. If everyone would live like us, we need more than three (!) Earths, but how are we going to do that with the only ones we have? And how should that, with all those oliebollen in power?
