Open kaart over discriminatie – samen verder - Esra Abla's huiskamer
The past few months have been all about meeting, conversation and growth. What started as an afternoon of dialogue, in which the anti-discrimination card set was launched on April 18, has grown into a movement. More and more people have become more aware and have learned to listen to each other with the intention of understanding.
In the meantime, the participants involved have immersed themselves in facilitating anti-discrimination dialogues. They have learned how to create a safer and open space, how to guide conversations and how to make room for change. On the 4th of July we will put them in the light.
This afternoon is not only a continuation, but also a celebration. A celebration of the people who have committed themselves, of the conversations that have been had and of the steps we have taken together towards greater equality and connection.
During this event we bring everything together: the energy of the kick-off event, the experiences of the past months and the power of new voices.
What can you expect:
- Celebrating facilitators: we reflect on the participants who were trained and their role in strengthening dialogue in the city.
- Dialogue tables: again we will talk to each other, guided by the new facilitators.
- Stories & reflection: space for personal experiences, insights and what this journey has meant.
- Meeting & connection: we conclude with space to chat and make new connections
Together we continue to build a city in which there is room for every story. Where we don't look away, but start the conversation. Where difference does not create distance, but rather connection. Where we are aware of the systems that influence our lives and how we can bring about change, large or small.
