Praktische bezwaren - Kiki Schippers

Cabaret

More confidently than ever before, she analyzes politics in The Hague and feminism, pays tribute to freethinkers, and makes the political not only personal but also poetically close. Because for people with ideals, life is full of practical objections.

Between dream and action, Kiki sketches a world full of contradictions, in which she continues to fight for a place where things are allowed to exist side by side: ideas, feelings, bubbles and people who are no longer completely sure. What is certain: we are all struggling, and when Kiki starts singing everyone becomes silent.

Kiki Schippers has been making satire for the radio program Spijkers met Koppen for 10 years, writes language columns about current affairs and has toured in recent years, among other things. with the Lady Years along the theaters. She was nominated six times for the Annie M.G. Schmidt Prize for the best theater song and her show with band was in the top 3 of the Poelifinario Kleinkunst for the most impressive cabaret performance of the year.
