Prominent Peaks is a unique documentary by Protect Our Winters Netherlands (POW NL) about a unique series of climbs, often remote and unknown, combining different climbing disciplines. In 2024 and 2025, alpinist Christian de Jong and his climbing partners reached the 44 ultra-prominent peaks of the Alps with a high sustainability focus. The project was completely CO2 neutral due to the use of electric transport, no lifts, clearing the mountains and creating climate awareness.
